Confirmation

"Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation," whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed." (CCC 1285)

The greatest gift you can give your child is sharing the faith which God has entrusted you to hand on to them by teaching your child the truth about God, the Church, and what it means to be a human person. This task can be very challenging as the primary educator of your child, but please know that you are not alone, we at St. Anne are here to help you.  Please contact Asher Mersereau in the parish office if you would like assistance in any way.  
  
If you believe your child is ready for confirmation, please contact Asher Mersereau at the parish office 763.478.6644 ext. 3.  We traditionally confirm in 8th grade but will work with you if  you feel your child is ready at a different age.

Confirmation Orientation

• Confirmation Orientation with Fr. Belden at 1:00 p.m. in the Parish Dining Hall on Sunday, October 4, 2026 All parents and candidates must attend.

Confirmation schedule:

• Confirmation Q&A Dinner #1 with Fr. Belden at 4:00pm in the Parish Dining Hall on Wednesday, November 11, 2026
• Confirmation Retreat from 12:00pm to 3pm in the Parish Dining Hall on Wednesday, January 24, 2027
• Confirmation Q&A Dinner #2 with Fr. Belden at 4:00pm in the Parish Dining Hall on Wednesday, March 31, 2027
• Confirmation Mass at 2pm at the Cathedral of Saint Paul on Sunday April 25, 2027 Please arrive no later than 1pm. All Sponsors and candidates must attend.

Please click on the links below to download and fill out the forms, then send back the Registration Form to the parish office and the Baptism Request Form to the parish where your child was baptized if it is a different parish then St. Anne.
